Diet and Eating. Toddlers will often have less appetite from being over tired. This is not to say they just won't eat but it can be the culprit to his eating poorly or not eating enough for his age. This in itself carries with it other health and nutrition issues. It is also likely that due to being tired, his body will crave more carbohydrates and sugary foods. This causes weight gain, which houses a whole list of illnesses.
Heat Application: Patients suffering from the problem of backache can use heating pad, hot water bottles, or even a hot bath to ease the complications due to pain in the back.
Make your home look like a home. Theme some of your rooms as you organize them up. A living room for rest and relaxation for mom and dad. A family room that's safe for the kids, pet friendly, with a big old couch to get comfortable on. A master bedroom with Pillows galore. Maybe even pick and choose some of your kids' things to lay out, to make the room look less like a room and more like an inviting atmosphere.
Stretching exercises can be a quick fix for your back but be careful not to over do it! Here is one stretching exercise I do when my lower back starts to hurt. Lay face down on the floor, put your arms in the pushup position and gently raise your upper torso making sure your pelvis stays flat on the floor. Most lower Back pain comes from over extending or over stretching the lower spine. This exercise presses the vertebrae back together and realigns them. I start by only going up until my back is slightly arched, hold for a ten count and go back down. Repeat as needed. A few of these is all my back usually needs.
Arthritic stiffness or pain can be caused by any joint not wanting to move or being stiff. Starting your walking activity a person can start slow and build up to the distance as far as they want to walk, remembering that they have to walk back. Unless you have a friend waiting for you to drive you back from your walk with their car.
2) I know a man with horrible Sleep Problems. (He has sleep apnea that sometimes brings his nighttime oxygen saturation level down into the 60th percentile!) His doctor gave him a medicine for another condition. That medicine causes the man to get up six or seven times a night to go to the bathroom. All of those awakenings result in more interference with his sleep cycle and further ruin his chance of getting any decent rest! He feels worse than ever. Several times family members have found him passed out on the floor in the middle of the night. He is exhausted!
How are these exercises related to yoga? Yoga is really about being conscious of your body, its patterns, and focusing on healing and maintaining your whole body health.
You could also decorate your home with colorful Moroccan tiles. Whether you prefer to use them as flooring or as decoration, you can be sure that they are never dull. Some home owners prefer to use them as part of the wall in their kitchen, bathroom or living room. Some even use them as their kitchen table top. Framing them up to hang like a painting is also a creative idea. The fun part is to create your own design by putting several of these tiles together.
There can be physical or psychological disorders. Because of certain events in your life, you may have problems sleeping. This could happen as a result of head trauma or from having headaches. You could have problems with your breathing being obstructed at night or your body failing to send signals to your brain for you to breathe. Suffering an injury can lead to a sleeping problem as well.
